Houjou Rio é um garoto que mergulhou nesse novo mundo. Estudando técnicas de construção de Gunpla no mundo real com Urutsuki Seria e absorvendo conhecimento sobre Gunpla Battle da Mask Lady no mundo do Metaverso, ele tem aprimorado suas habilidades dia após dia. Após concluir seu próprio Gunpla original, o Lah Gundam, Rio acaba encontrando alguns campeões passados da Gunpla Battle no reino do Metaverso.
